The tower was specially designed for Dubai Business Bay by Reiser + Umemoto Company and Dubai's real estate developer Shahab Lutfi. The 22 floor high tower has two walls, the outside one is made from porous concrete which is specially designed for cooling.
1. Super tall skyscraper: Burj Dubai
The tower, which has cost 80 billion U.S. dollars, is 818 meters high with 162 floors and is 310 meters higher than the 101 tower in Taipei. It started to construct in 2004 and will be finished before the end of December this year.
